So I did a thing......

After years of wanting to have a pet but not allowed due to renting and requiring pet rent, pet deposit, etc , I was able to adopt two kittens.  They are the most adorable animals I think I have ever seen.  Let me take you on this journey so far......

Christmas Edition

They were roughly about 1 month old when they moved in.  Here are a few pictures of just catching glimpses of them following me around the house, wherever I go they will be following.

This was the first month in October.  They were getting adapted to their new environment.

This was their first experience with catnip.  They are already stimulated so this didn't seem to elevate them quite that much, they did roll around in it though.  But I will occasionally put it in a box again as I know cats do love this herb.

Moments of bliss....

These are some candid moments with these playful and curious cats.

And this is picture of what the tree currently looks like after having it up for less than a month.  Sigh...

They spend most of their days exploring new places.

And

Spending time with mom.
This has certainly been a new experience with these kittens.  Every moment now involves these two in it.
I have found myself closing the door during the times I need concentration or focus as they are a distraction for sure.

Introducing the slippers...

The cats were enamored every time I walked by.

As of today, they are going on 3 months and growing so quickly.

Have you ever wondered why people buy cat strollers and extra accessories to carry their pets on their back or even in a purse?  I certainly get it now.

I do not think I will be taking a leap to buy anything of that nature but certainly chuckle at a few ideas of taking them on my daily walks in a stroller.

The days leading up to Christmas have been great.  It has been cold outside, so I haven't been outside taking my daily walks quite as much.

They have both been great additions and keep me entertained.

Have a great day!

Merry Christmas!
