My journey in life has not been what I expected at all. Getting married at 19, staying married for 20 years it allowed me to experience and see a lot. We had two children together, built our first house and then it all came tumbling down because my feet were not grounded where they were supposed to be. In the word and praying. Little did I know how much life would change for me after the divorce.
I had never changed a tire, never ordered my own tags, never filed my own taxes, a lot of basic life skills I did not have. Am I embarrassed, yes! I was a 40 year old starting over in life.
I realize that I rely way too much on other people. I realize that a good support system is imperative to have around you and that is how I plan to rebuild. Thank God for being here with me. I don’t always make the right choices but I always find my way back in align with God’s plan. He loves me even when I fail. I’m a sinner but he still loves me.
I am now 42 and starting over yet once again after a broken engagement. Lord, seriously?
But here is a picture of my new apartment. It works for now!
It’s a quaint apartment. But for the time being it works. :). Give God the glory!
