Favorite Inspiration

Not a lot of people know that I went through a pretty dark patch about 5-10 years ago and am still coming out of that time of darkness, fear, sadness and I know there is hope on the horizon.  During that time and still one of my favorite speakers to go to is TD Jakes.  God leads him and gives him just the words I need to hear for that season.  I bought a bible that he helped publish, woman though art loosed.  This bible is geared more towards women and offers up pearls of wisdom at the bottom of each page.  It also has pages and pages of women that God used in the Bible.  It is still my favorite bible and I will always hold it close.

I hope it encourages someone else as it does me!!

God cares and so do I!

Life Lately

Life happens.... and for me that means a growing young adult and moving!  This is my life at the moment.
We faired the storm of hurricane Dorian.  Everyone made it with very minimal damage.  I stayed at my parents house with no ac!  But I was safe and free from fear of being by myself during this cat 4 storm (which was later downgraded to a 2 and passed by Florida with barely a nod).  Out of work for 2 Days so it was a time of rest if nothing else.

Here are a few glimpses of the time of waiting.  Spending time with these two kiddos, they are so fun!

To recap, I am moving! I am excited for a new place in a new town.  Already thinking of decor ideas.

We Had such a great experience watching a bird hatch eggs outside of my apartment and then watch the chick grow (and it got big fast)!   They have now moved on to the great outdoors but how fun to watch.

And while I’m blogging I’ll post some portraits of me and my son.  I wanted to have these pictures done for so long.  Pictures at-a real portrait studio and I was able to get a canvas picture too!
